ACE Group today announced two appointments in its EMEA Accident and
Health (A&H) management team, as part of its ongoing investment in its
consumer insurance offering across the region.
Joel Laventure has been appointed to the new role of Commercial
Director, A&H Classic for ACE in EMEA. In his new role, Joel will be
responsible for leading and coordinating key business development
initiatives and further expanding ACE’s external partnerships.
Joel has 23 years of insurance industry experience. Prior to this role,
he was the Head of SME and Residential Insurance for ACE in the Asia
Pacific region, where, among his other achievements, he led the
development and implementation of the SME and residential growth
strategy for the company.
Matt Foster has been appointed to the new role of Head of Product
Marketing for A&H. In his new role Matt will ensure that ACE’s
propositions meet customer needs and are supported by cross-platform
marketing campaigns, rolled out across the EMEA region.
Matt joins ACE with more than 20 years of marketing experience,
specialising in the life, protection and health-related general
insurance sectors. Most recently he held the position of Senior Manager,
Products, at Ageas, where he contributed to the company’s strategy
development and conceived and developed a range of new and innovative
protection products. Prior to this, he held a series of senior marketing
and product development positions at financial services companies.
Both appointments are effective immediately. Joel will be based in
Dublin, reporting to Stéphane Baj, Regional Director, A&H Corporate &
Affinity for ACE in EMEA. Matt will be based in London, reporting to
Darragh Gray, Director for Marketing and Communications for ACE in EMEA
and Pat Drinan, Senior Vice President, Accident & Health and Life for
ACE in EMEA.
