ACE Group announced today the appointment of Adi Darmaputra as
Accident & Health and Bancassurance Director for its general insurance
operations in Indonesia. In this position, he is tasked with the
management and development of the company’s personal accident &
supplemental health business as well as its strategic bank partnerships.
Mr. Darmaputra will be based in Jakarta and will report to the Country
President of Indonesia, with additional reporting to Glen Browne,
Regional Head of Accident & Health for Asia Pacific and Peter van
Ratingen, Regional Head of Bancassurance for Asia Pacific.
Mr. Darmaputra joins ACE with a strong background of executing highly
successful corporate strategies for the Indonesian operations of an
international insurer. As a Director, he played a pivotal role in
growing a network of strategic partnerships with financial institutions
and other corporates as well as achieving profitable sales and revenue
for the insurer. In addition, Mr. Darmaputra was the chief advisor and
sponsor of major strategic alliance projects, including co-insurance and
joint venture initiatives. Prior to joining the insurance industry, he
had several years of experience across various industries in business
development and client servicing roles.
Mr. Darmaputra graduated with a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering
from the University of Indonesia. He also obtained MBA and MSc degrees
from Syracuse University, New York.
