ACE Group today announced that Steven Zodtner has been appointed Senior
Vice President, Property and Casualty and Micro-business for ACE
Commercial Risk Services. In this newly-created position, he will work
closely with David Charlton, Division President, to lead ACE’s expansion
efforts into the property and casualty package and the micro specialty
lines market for select small businesses.
Mr. Charlton commented, “ACE’s expansion into the package and micro
specialty lines represents the next step in the evolution and growth for

Mr. Zodtner joins ACE with more than 30 years of business experience. He
most recently served as Executive Vice President with a U.S.-based
specialty insurance underwriting company, and held prior senior
leadership positions with a global technology company, and a U.S.-based
health care insurer. In addition, he also co-founded a niche consulting
firm specializing in management consulting with director level officers
of Fortune 500 companies on outsourcing strategies.
Mr. Zodtner is a graduate of Michigan State University, where he
received a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Business Administration. He
received his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of
Pennsylvania, and holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter
(CPCU) and Associate in Surplus Lines Insurance (ASLI) professional
designations.
