Per Bengtsson has been promoted to the new role of Property and
Technical Lines Manager, Nordic region. Per will be responsible for
managing financial performance as well as driving and delivering ACE’s
strategy and development for the company’s property, construction, power
generation and cyber risk portfolios in all four of its Nordic
operations: Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. He will work
collaboratively with ACE’s local teams and the external market to
deliver a consistent proposition across the Nordic region and develop
flexible solutions for ACE’s broker partners and clients across the
region.
Previously, Per held responsibility for ACE’s property underwriting team
in Sweden and Finland, overseeing the growth of the property portfolio
since 2011. Before joining ACE as a property underwriter in 2008, he
worked in underwriting roles at the insurer Trygg-Hansa.
Per will continue to be based in Stockholm and will report to David
Snanoudj, Regional Property Manager Continental Europe and Hervé Cosson,
Regional Technical Lines Manager, Continental Europe.
Morten Stensholt has been appointed to the position of Property
Manager, Norway. In his new role, Morten will be responsible for
managing the underwriting performance of ACE’s growing property
portfolio in Norway and for driving its future profitable development.
Morten joins ACE with 13 of experience in the insurance industry. Most
recently, he worked as a senior broker at Eneas. Previously, he held
various relationship management, underwriting and sales positions at
insurance companies AIG and Vesta Forsikring, with a focus on property,
industrial risks and major accounts.
Morten will be based in Oslo and will report to Per.
Both appointments are effective immediately.
Bror Sandas, Country President, Nordics at ACE, said:
“We are excited about the opportunities we see for ACE across the
property and technical lines market in the Nordics. These two
appointments will be instrumental in ensuring that we deliver a
consistent and best in class proposition for brokers and clients across
the region, while strengthening our local offering in Norway, which is a
core market for ACE.
“Per and Morten share a strong underwriting background and a track
record of building successful partnerships with market partners. I look
forward to working with them both as we further build our regional
expertise and our local presence across our four Nordic countries.”
