NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
ACE Life, the global life insurance division of ACE Group, today
announced the appointment of Haik de Jong as Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. de Jong will be based in New York and report to Russell Bundschuh,
President, ACE Life, and Phil Bancroft, Chief Financial Officer, ACE
Group.

Mr. de Jong has a strong track record of driving results, building
organizational capability and leading organizations through change and
transition in the insurance industry. Before joining ACE, he was the
Asia Pacific regional chief financial officer for ING. In this role, he
was instrumental in providing strategic leadership for accounting,
financial planning and analysis, capital management and solvency. Prior
to this role, Mr. de Jong held senior management roles in Europe, Latin
America and Asia.
Mr. de Jong holds Master’s degrees in Mathematics from Leiden
University, Economic Science and Econometrics from VU University in
Amsterdam, and Actuarial Science from University of Amsterdam.
