ACE Group today announced the appointment of Paul Littooij, currently
Marine Manager for ACE in Benelux, to the additional role of European
Product Champion, Small Marine Commercial as it continues to expand its
team to better cover the insurance needs of the small and medium (SME)
business market segment in this important sector of the economy in
Continental Europe.
In this role, Paul will be responsible for the development and
profitable growth of ACE’s small commercial marine portfolio across
Continental Europe. He will focus in expanding ACE’s online shipment
platform, already piloted in Italy, across key European markets, and
build new relationships with potential distribution partners.
Paul has 25 years of marine insurance industry experience. He joined ACE
in 2008, having previously held a series of marine underwriting, claims
and risk engineering roles. In his new role, he continues to work from
ACE’s Rotterdam and Antwerp offices, reporting to Benoît Chasseguet,
