Cyber Risk Awards. Now in its second year, the Advisen Cyber Risk Awards
are “People’s Choice” awards, with winners determined by the largest

ACE’s Toby Merrill, Senior Vice President, Global Cyber Practice Leader,
was named Cyber Risk Industry Person of the Year for the U.S., while
Marcel Van Peenen, Regional Professional Indemnity Manager, Financial
Lines, Asia, secured the award in the international category. This award
demonstrates the entire cyber community’s gratitude to key players who,
through dedication, foresight and leadership, have enhanced and
developed the treatment of cyber risk over the course of the past year.
ACE also received the Cyber Risk Innovation of the Year award for Loss
Mitigation Services. This award recognizes a specific innovation
that has made an outstanding contribution to improving the way that
cyber risk is managed in the past year. Noted as “the first of its kind
in the industry” during the nomination process, Loss Mitigation Services
helps insureds mitigate against breaches before an event happens through
a unique, multi-tier approach that focuses on training, preparation, and
