Group today announced that its environmental underwriting division,
ACE Environmental Risk, earned top honors from Business Insurance
magazine as a recipient of the publication’s 2015 Innovation Awards
Program. Now in its sixth year, the Business Insurance Innovation
Awards recognize leadership and innovation for professional risk
managers that focus on new technology, new products and services, and
other advancements in the insurance industry.

ACE was recognized for ACE
ALERTSM (ACE Logistical Environmental Response
Technology), a complimentary program developed for its U.S. domestic
environmental clients that offers immediate support after an
environmental release. The ACE ALERT portal available 24/7 on computers,
smartphones and tablets, instantaneously connects the insured to an
expert response team that can provide access to clean-up contractors,
disaster experts, environmental assessors, and more. The program is
designed to help ACE Environmental Risk customers better manage and
potentially contain costs and limit liability after environmental
incidents, including, but not limited to, releases of regulated
substances, along with discoveries of mold, asbestos or legionella,
which may require clean-up and site remediation.
